This is an authentic vintage item with a lovely aged patina. There is some minor "pitting" and verdigris (green oxidation) inside the bowl—a common sign of age for silver-plated salt cellars where the salt has reacted with the metal over time. I have left the original patina for those who prefer an antique look, but it could be polished further. No major dents or deep scratches.
